How to
Crack the Exam
Candidates have to clear two stages for this
recruitment i.e. Career Marking & Written Test. Weightage of 30% shall be
given to career marking and 70% to written test. Career marking will be made in
the following manner,
I.
Marks secured in 10th
class examination – 10%
II.
Marks secured in 12th
class examination – 10%
III.
Marks secured in Bachelor of
Dental Surgery examination – 10%
Written test will be conducted in the
following pattern: –
I.
Total marks in written test
-200
II.
Total number of questions is
200 which shall be Multiple Choice Questions
III.
There is no negative marking
for wrong answers
IV.
The Duration of Examination
is 3 hours
V.
Syllabus as per Dental
Council of India
The Commission shall prepare a list of
candidates in order of merit on the basis of career marking and written test.
Candidates are required to prepare the syllabus thoroughly and practice
previous year papers, sample papers which are available on the internet. The
Qualifying mark will be 50% for UR & SEBC, 45% for PWD and 40% for SC/ST in
aggregate taking together both career and written test.
