How to Apply:
– Candidates are required to apply online through the website http://www.jkpsc.nic.in. No other mode of application will accept.
Before applying online application, candidates read carefully the necessary
instructions for the filling application.
Candidates
are first required to register through One Time Registration on the Official
website or click on Login menu if candidates have already created profile with
the JKPSC.
Candidates
are required to fill all the personal information, contact information and
educational qualification, experience details etc.
The
candidate shall also be required to upload the recent passport size photograph
and signature.
Click
on the show examination as shown against the respective post candidates want to
apply. Candidates need to check the application details before to click on
Apply button. On successful submission of the basic details, the candidates are
required to pay the online fee and uploading the documents for final
submission.
Selection
Method
The
selection will be made on the basis of written Examination which have 75 points
followed by interview of 25 points, Total Points is 100.
The
written examination will be a 2 hour Objective multiple choice question based
having 120 questions. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers, for
every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. If a candidate gives more than
one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer. Candidates are advised to go
through the syllabus of written examination thoroughly which is available on
the official website and attempt only those questions on which they are fully
confident.
In
the Interview, the candidates will be asked questions of domain knowledge/
Skills, questions on matters of general interest. The interview test is
intended to judge the mental caliber of a candidate.
